Echoes of Darkness:

• Does not operate any backend server
• Does not store your personal data on remote databases
• Does not sell or share your data for advertising
• Does not use tracking or marketing analytics

Your Destiny 2 game data flows directly from Bungie.net to your device.

3. Data We Access

3.1 Bungie.net Game Data (Read-Only Access)

When you authenticate via Bungie.net OAuth, the app accesses your Destiny 2 data directly from Bungie's official API to display:

• Character information
• Activity history
• Raid statistics
• Performance metrics

This data:

• Is retrieved directly from Bungie.net
• Is displayed only on your device
• Is never stored on our servers
• Is never shared with third parties

Your use of Bungie services is subject to Bungie's own privacy policy.

3.2 Local Storage on Your Device

The app stores the following information locally on your device only:

• OAuth authentication tokens (securely stored in the iOS Keychain)
• Cached Bungie manifest data
• Temporarily cached statistics for performance purposes

All local data is removed when:

• You log out
• You uninstall the app

3.3 Crash Reporting (Technical Diagnostics Only)

We use Firebase Crashlytics, a service provided by Google, to collect technical diagnostic data in the event of application crashes.

Crashlytics may collect:

• Device model
• Operating system version
• App version
• Crash logs (stack traces)
• Time and date of crash
• General diagnostic data

This information:

• Does not include your Bungie.net game data
• Does not include your Destiny 2 statistics
• Is used solely to diagnose and fix technical issues
• Is not used for advertising or profiling

Crash data is processed by Google in accordance with: https://policies.google.com/privacy

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process data under the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract: To provide the app's core functionality (authentication and display of Destiny 2 statistics)
• Legitimate interest: To maintain app stability and security through crash diagnostics

We do not process data for marketing or advertising purposes.

5. International Data Transfers

Third-party services used by the app, including Bungie.net and Google Firebase, may process data outside the European Union.

These providers operate under their own legal safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

We do not independently transfer or store your data internationally.

6. Data Retention

• Authentication tokens: Stored locally until logout or app deletion
• Cached game data: Stored locally until cleared or app deletion
• Crash diagnostics: Retained by Firebase according to their default retention policies

We do not retain any personal data on our own servers.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Request access to personal data processed about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of personal data

Since we do not maintain our own database, most data access or deletion requests relating to game data must be directed to Bungie.net.

8. Children's Privacy

Echoes of Darkness does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Data Sharing

We do not:

• Sell personal information
• Share data with advertisers
• Use tracking technologies for marketing
• Store your Bungie.net password
• Operate a remote database

Your Destiny 2 game data is retrieved directly from Bungie.net and displayed locally on your device.

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• OAuth authentication handled securely through Bungie
• Tokens stored in iOS Keychain
• Encrypted HTTPS communication
• No password storage
• No remote database infrastructure
